Morphology and Anatomy:

Strongylidae are thought to have arisen from free-living rhabditoid nematodes (Durette-Dusset et al., 1994).

• e. Synlophe with carene poorly developed in relation to other ridges, 4 dorsal, 6 ventral continous ridges at mid-body. Size of ridges decreasing from lateral to median sides of the body
