Morphology and Anatomy:

Strongylidae are thought to have arisen from free-living rhabditoid nematodes (Durette-Dusset et al., 1994).

  • Caudal bursa of type 1-4. Dorsal ray well developed divided mid-way. Rays 9 shorter than rays 10, arising proximally to the middle region of dorsal ray
