Cuticle expanded left dorsally, right ventrally.
Nerve ring far anterior to middle of esophagus; excretory pore, deirids slightly posterior to nerve ring S
Synlophe with 15–26 ridges in both sexes. Ridges continuous. Careen supported by two small ridges with ventral one generally slightly larger. Ridge 1’ distinct from left ridge. Ridges unequal in size, small to minute. Careen and ridges associated with right ridge, largest. Other ridges very small or minute. Left ridge minute or replaced by a gap in front of the left lateral field. Axis (es) of orientation oblique.
Synlophe ridges continuous, commencing posterior to cephalic vesicle, ending just anterior to bursa copulatrix in male, at vulval level in female.

Vulva posterior, close to anus and tail tip; vagina vera shortwith dorsal diverticulum; vestibule
Tail conical, with 1 pair of small subapical projectio
Males:
Bursal pattern of type 2-2-1; dorsal ray divided within proximal half.
Spicules equal, each with a single tip.
Gubenaculum with medial expansion
Type species described from small intestine of Maxomys musschenbroekii (Muridae: Murinae) (Hasegawa et al., 1999).
