Nematode parasites of fleas
The life cycle of this nematode is characterized by an alternation, in the coelom of the host flea, of heterosexual and parthenogenetic generations. At the type locality, in Russia, 49% of the Coptopsylla lamellifer, the type host, were parasitized by S. pawlowskyi (Slobodyanyuk, 1997)
