Morphology and Anatomy:

Genus characterized by:

• cuticle annulated;
• four cephalic setae
• amphid aperture circular or oval;
• buccal cavity tubular, long and narrow;
• pharynx guitar shaped, with middle and basal bulbs;
• tail conical without terminal setae; three caudal glands present;
• spinneret functional; midventral precloacal supplements usually present in males.
