Morphology and Anatomy:

• Cuticle with coarse transverse striations and longitudinal files of obliquely orientated cuticular flanges. No setae on the general body surface.
• Cuticle in the head region thickened into a cephalic capsule which is unstriated but hs eight cuticular ribs extending forward from its base.
• An anterior circle of six 7-10 um cephalic setae and more posteriorly four 10-15 um cephalic setae.
• Buccal cavity absent.
• Amphids 15-22 um from anterior, a closed loop, oval in outline in the male, but circular in the female.
• Esophagus narrow , cylindrical, no posterior bulb.
• Tail conical, 5.S-7.3 abd or cbd in length with unstriated tip .

Described from sandy sediments on beach at Firemore Bay, Loch Ewe, Scotland.
