Morphology and Anatomy:

• Cuticle with complex heterogeneous punctated ornamentation; lateral differentiation of larger dots in longitudinal rows.
• Buccal cavity deep, with a long hollow dorsal tooth.
• Pharynx with peribuccal pharyngeal tissue swollen slightly and nearly symmetrical; elongated double posterior bulb.
• Tail terminated with a long pointed spinneret.

Distribution:

Mostly marine, usually from intertidal sediment. Some species rarely were recorded in brackish habitats.
