Morphology and Anatomy:

The genus Parasaveljevis is characterized by:

• Lips high. All anterior sensilla setose.
• Similar to Saveljevia but with well-developed mandibles; dorsal tooth small or reduced, two large ventrosublateral teeth surpassing anterior end of mandibles.
• Denticles on mandibular plates present or absent
• Cirri-shaped cephalic organs present or absent.
• Marine nematodes.
