Diagnostic characteristics of the genus:

Females:

  • Didelphic-amphidelphic with antidromously reflexed ovaries
 

Males:

  • Monorchic with outstretched testis,
  • Spicules short with single joint;
  • Gubernaculum without caudal apophysis;
  • Supplements absent.
