Morphology and Anatomy:

Diagnostic characteristics of the genus:

Cuticle with very fine transverse striations.
Anterior sensilla in two circles: six inner labial papillae and six outer labial setae + four cephalic setae.
Amphid unispiral.
Buccal cavity elongate-conoid without teeth.
Caudal glands absent.
Terrestrial.

Females:

Didelphic-amphidelphic with antidromously reflexed ovaries

Males:

Monorchic with outstretched testis,
Spicules short with single joint;
Gubernaculum without caudal apophysis;
Supplements absent.
