Morphology and Anatomy:

Female:

  • Body  almost  cylindrical,  ventrally  curved  after  fixation.  Cuticle  smooth .

  • Head region continuous with neck; six lipswith 6 + 4 papillae. Amphid with oval aperture 3-5 um wide, 9-12  μ m  from  anterior  end. 

  • Buccal cavity large, goblet-shaped, about twice as long as wide, with thick,  heavily  cuticularised  vertical  walls.  Dorsal  wall  with  a  sharp,  tooth, directed forward, located in the anterior half of buccal cavity at 56-62% from its base; Six  transverse  rows  of  rasp-like  denticles  on  subventral  walls  of sbuccal cavity posterior to the dorsal tooth.

  • Two foramina present at the base of buccal cavity lying close to each other.

  • Nerve ring and excretrory pore between  32 and 37%  of  neck  length,.

  •   Cardia  conoid,  surrounded  by  intestinal tissue.

  • Didelphic-amphidelphic. Ovaries more or less straight, reflexed and with a single row of oocytes. Uterus short,  0.3-0.5 vbd.

  • Vagina  with  parallel  walls, less  than  half  vbd;  pars refringens vaginae with two boot-shaped sclerotisations.

  • Vulva not protruding and located near mid body.

  • Rectum 0.7-0.8 times abd.

  • Tail arcuate, bent ventrad. Caudal glands in tandem, spinneret opening terminal.

Distribution:

The species was described from soil in Kerman Province, Iran.
