Sporonchulus vagabundus Jairajpuri, 1971

Synonyms:

Morphology and Anatomy:

Cuticle smooth, two-layered, 1 um anteriorly, 2 um on tail.
Lip region almost continuous with body contour, 2.1-2.5 x widty to height; lips totally fused lips, papillae weakly protruding
Amphid fovea small, goblet-like, located at 8-10 um from the anterior end, aperture a short transverse slit 14-15% of lip region diam.
Buccal cavity 2x as long as wide, 1.1x as long as lip region diame
Dorsal tooth apex 74â€“75% from base of buccal; anterioror subventral plates each with two irregular rows of small teeth
Anterior of pharynx surrounding base of buccal cavity
Cardia non-tubercuate
Caudal glands ducted to an ampukka with spinneret,

Didelphic, ovaries equally developed
Vaginal sclerotization trapezoid
Rectum 1x abd
