Morphology and Anatomy:

The genus was proposed by Siddiqi (1984)  to accommodate members of the genus Iotonchus without a dorsal tooth or other teeth, denticles or ridges in the stoma  (Siddiqi, 1984). Morphologically, it is very similar to some of the species of Iotonchus that have a very small dorsal tooth

.

Distribution:

Species have been sescribed fropm soils of rainforests in South Amrica
