Type species of the genus: Hadronchulus shamimi Ray & Das, 1982

Morphology and Anatomy:

• Labial region well set off from body,
• Buccal cavity barrel shaped, with dorsal tooth in the posterior half  of the dorsal wall and anteriorly directed;  numerous small denticles on the subventral wall
• Esophago-intestinal junction tuberculate.
• Tails conoid, ventrally arcuate, caudal glands and terminal duct poorly developed.
