Anoplostoma nhatrangensis Tchesunov & Thanh, 2010

Synonyms:

Morphology and Anatomy:

Six small inner labial apillae, 6 long outer labial setae and 4 cervical setae (slightly posterior to outer labial setae.
Amphid fovea posket shaped, posterior to lip region.
Buccal cavity voluminous, cylindroid. cheilostom and gymnostom with rhabdions; stegostom with a collar of esophageal tissue.
Esophagus (pharynx) cylindroid, evenly muscular, gradually widening to small trinagular cardia that inserts into intestine.
Tail conical anteriorly, filiform posteriorly.

Male:

Diorchic, both testes to left of intestine
Spicules long and slender
Gubernaculum paired
Bursa variable in length between position of retracted spivulesand conical part of tail. Paired spine-like setae on bursal alae.

Female:

Didelphic-amphidalphic, ovaries reflexed.
No spermathecae

Free living marine nematodes described from mangroves in an estuary on the central coasrt of Vietnam, near Nha Trang City.
