Morphology and Anatomy:

• Buccal capsule reduced to annulus; lips absent;
• cephalic vesicle present;
• synlophe with left ventral ridges only or with both dorsal and ventral ridges and axis of orientation subfrontal; ridges continuous, longitudinal or oblique; careen absent;
• bursa of type 1-3-1 and caudal spine absent on female tail or bursa of type 2--3 with spine present;
• female didelphic, rarely with distal branch atrophied (Ohbayashinema Durette-Desset, 1974) or monodelphic.
