Heterocheilidae Railliet & Henry, 1905

Two of the genera of the  Heterocheilidae are separated by the prsence of dentigerous ridges on the lips.  The genus Multicaecum has such ridges, while the genus Brevimulticaecum does not. (Sprent, 1979).
