Quimperiidae (Gendre, 1928) Baylis, 1928A
family of nematode parasites of fish, especially eels and catfish; rarely
reported from amphibians.
Most genera in the family have:
- large lateral alae
- a cephalic vesicle
- males with a pre-cloacal sucker or caudal alae
