Siphonolaimidae Filipjev, 1918 (sometimes ascribed to Chitwood, 1937)
                
A family of free-living marine nematodes, often reported from extuarine and mangrove habitats. Includes some taxa that lack a mouth.

Two subfamilies:  Astomonematinae Kito & Aryuthaks, 2006 and Siphonolaiminae Filipjev, 1918
