A family of marine nematodes resident in bottom sediments.

Note: Tchesunov, 1990 split the family Aegialoalaimidae Lorenzen, 1981 into three separate falilies:

  1. Aegialoalaimidae

  2. Cyartonematidae for Cyartonema and Paraterschellingia

  3. Diplopeltoididae for Diplopeltoides
