Parasites of respiratory system of dogs, cats, seals, marsupials

Buccal capsule vestigial; mouth without lips;
bursa with large lateral lobes, large dorsal lobe;
vulva at mid-region of body; ovoviviparous.

Life cycles, where known, utilize gastropod molluscs as intermediate hosts (Anderson, 2000).
