Free-living marine nematodes.

- Pharynx dumbbell-shaped with swollen anterior corpus and posteriorbulb
with unthickened lumen wall in bulb.
- Swollen anterior body conspicuous and short
- Cephalic adhesion tubes with open tips, blister-shaped, located on
helmet
- Acanthiform cepahlic seate may also be present on helmet
- Buccal cavity narrow, unarmed.
- Posterior adhesion tubes short and straight (except Draconema
trispinosum with some longer tubes), with bell-shaped tip. In males,
all posterior adhesion tubes are anterior to cloaca (except in
Dracograllus eira and D. minutus). In females, all posterior
