Morphology and Anatomy:

As of 2019. a monotypic genus with a single species.

  • Cuticle with transverse striae interrupted by ten longitudinal ridges
  • Two of the ridges represent the two lateral fields
  • Four longitudinal ridges in dorsal and ventral sectors
  • Head not offset, with 4 cephalic setae
  • Stylet as long as procorpus with well-developed knobs

Female:

  • Monodelphic prodelphic with postuterine sac
  • Vulva covwered by a longitudinal flap

Male

  • Rare
  • No bursa
  • Cloacal lips have large hypoptygmata
