Morphology and Anatomy:

Female:

  • Annules retrorse; cuticle covered with a thin additional layer.
  • Labial area with two to three well-separated annules, submedian lobes distinct.
  • Stylet generally greater than 100um long.
  • Vulva open; anterior lip not overlapping and with or without spines.

Male: 

Juveniles:

  • Annuli with or without cuticular ornamentation, but may be irregular or uneven.
  • Often covered with a fine cuticular membrane.
