Morphology and Anatomy:

 

Females:

  • Female does not form a cyst..
  • Body globose, spherical to pear-shaped with short neck. Annulated throughout.
  • Lip region with discoid labial annule and three postlabial annules
  • DEGO behind stylet knobs
  • Vulva slightly posterior to middle of body
  • Distance benween vulva and anus 200-500 um
  • Eggs retained in body

Second-stage juveniles:

  • Phasmid small, pore-like

 

Males:
Rare, not found in original population but reported later from a pot culture on St. Augustinegrass in Texas
