Chromosome number 3n=50-56. The large number, variability of chromosome number and the triploid condition, are of a complexity typical of species reproducing by obligate mitotic parthenogenesis. (Eisenback and Triantaphyllou, 1992; Subbotin et al., 2021; Triantaphyllou, 1985).
