Described from Sycamore tree roots in Virginia, USA.
Sedentary endoparasite.
Feeding site establishment and development typical of genus.
Type Host: American Sycamore (Platanus occidentalis). Some other tree species are hosts but, generally, the host range seems rather limited.

Ecophysiological Parameters:
Chromosome number 2n=42-44. The large number, and variability of chromosome number, are typical of species reproducing by obligate mitotic parthenogenesis. (Hirschmann, 1982; Triantaphyllou, 1985; Subbotin et al., 2021)
