Tylenchida Tylenchina Tylenchoidea Meloidogynidae Meloidogyninae
Meloidogyne luci Carneiro, Correa, Almeida, Gomes, Deimi, Castagnone-Sereno & Karssen, 2014
Review general characteristics of the genus Meloidogyne.
Reported median body size for this species (Length mm; width micrometers; weight micrograms) - Click:
Reported fronm Brazil and Portugal (Santos et al., 2019)
.Type Host: Lavender (Lavandula spica).
Ecophysiological Parameters:
Chromosome number 2n=42-46. The large number, and variability of chromosome number, are typical of species reproducing by obligate mitotic parthenogenesis. (Carneiro et al., 2014; Subbotin et al., 2021; Triantaphyllou, 1985).
