Morphology and Anatomy:

Meloidogyne suginamiensis differs from  M. mali in that the female perineal pattern has a slightly squarish outline, wavy striae (vs. oval outline, smooth striae in M. mali); the shorterand broader tail of the second-stage larvae (24- 33,um vs. 30-34um and 30-40,2um long of the original description and of the populations of M. mali from mulberry, respectively).
It also differs from M. mali in characteristics of the face view of the J2 and males.
