Morphology and Anatomy:

.

 

Female: 

  • Thick body annuli with fringes of continuous lobed striations; more complex in caudal region.
  • Head is one annulus with forward-directed margins; margins finely serrated or grooved
  • Lip region elevated, dome-shaped, with 4 submedian lobes.
  • Stylet up to 20% or more of body length.
  • Esophagus criconematoid.
  • Vulva a smooth slit, "closed" in most species.
  • Tail with rows of scales with serrated margins.

Male: 

Unknown in most species.
