Basal bulb of esophagus large and irregular shape; slight overlap over intestine
Ovary eflexed
Male with testis extending almost to esophagus
Bursa from 1 body width anterior to cloaca , ending before tail tip.
Tail tip with a small projection

Dsecribed from seed galls in lawn grasses in South Africa, especially Bradley grass (Cynodon transvaalensis)
Afrina tumefaciens small ovoid galls on stems, leaves and rarely in flower heads (Barrantes-Infante et al., 2018)
Grasses
Galls contain as many as 9 adults and numerous eggs and juveniles (Van den Berg, 1985).
