Morphology and Anatomy:

In general, there is considerable morphological homogeneity among psecies, overlap of morphometric data, a lack of conspicuous apomorphies and a lack of molecular data for most poorly illustrated species in older descriptions.

Often in dead logs, under bark, sometimes in wood-packing material. sometimes associated with insects and blu-stained fungi.
