Morphology and Anatomy:

Small body, <500 mu
Lip region slightly offset by a depression in the cuticle, rounded
Cuticle striation distinct.
Stylet short, fine, with narrow lumen.
Esophageal median bulb rounded with valve in center.
Esophageal glands overlapping esophagus dorsally.

Female:

Inetstine posterior ending as a blind sac; rectum and anus obscure and non-functional.
Monodelphic, prodelphic; ovary outstretched; postuterine sac preseent, about 0.5 VBD long
Gonad occupying 29-41% of body length, composed of an outstretched ovary with single row of oocytes
Rounded spermatheca.
Vulva a transverse slit, vulval lips slightly protruding. .
Tail conical, slightly curved ventrally

Male:

Monorchic.
Spicules paired, not fused.
Caudal alae absent.
Male tail conical, ventrally curved with four pairs of cloacal papillae.

Distribution:

Collected from samples of tree bark collected from declining Pinus massoniana in Zheijiang Province, China. The tree had blue-stain fungus but no insect galleries.

Feeding:

Probably fungivorous on blue-stain (and other) fungi.
