    Morphology and Anatomy:

    Species are distinguished by differences in the bursal rays and characteristics of the female vagina-vera (Durette-Desset, 1974).

    Characteristics of the genus:

    Suncinema murini A: Male anteriorN: Male spicule; C: Female transverse section at mid-body; D: Female cuticular ridges, anterior end;  F: Female ovejectors; G: Female posterior;  H: Male caudal bursa; I: spicule.

    Females:

    •  Tail pointed posteriorly

      
     

    Males:  

    • Spicules short and simple
    • Ray 9 of caudal bursa reduced and deeply divided; ray 8 almost as long as ray 6.
