Morphology and Anatomy:

 

 

Females:

  • Didelphic uterus, ovejector with two branches.
  • V in the posterior third of the body.
  • Spermatheca present with spermatozoa
  • Anus near end of the body
  • Tail sharp, but without spine

Males:  

  • Prebursal papillae well developed
  • Bursa asymmetric and trilobate with reduced dorsal lobe.  Internal dorsal ray bifurcated distally, and external ray with bidigitate tips. Posterolateral, mediolateral and externolateral rays highly sclerotized.
  • Gubernaculum present, and telamon in three interconnected parts.
  •  Spicule short, complex, and sclerotized, with three tips.
