Morphology and Anatomy:

 

Females:

  • Female reproductive system didelphic,amphidelphic.
  • Ovary branches reflexed antidromously, each branch with two lateral offset spermathecae
  • Vagina encircled by a single sphincter muscle
 

  
 

Males:  

  • Somatic setae present in male only

Distribution:

Freshwater aquatic environments: lake water near the shore, water with aquatic plants. Also from very moist soil, mangrove swamps and bennthic mud in Lake Tahoe (USA)..
