Morphology and Anatomy:

• Cuticle without lateral differentiation
•  Buccal cavity cyathiform with prominent, elongate dorsal tooth; additional teeth may be present.
• Lips with distinctive foliaceous processes of labial rugae.
• Pharyngeal bulb absent

Distribution:

Phyllolaimus species have been described from the Continental Shelf of the Yellow Sea (Temperate Northern Pacific) (Cunha, 2023).
