Synonyms:

Morphology and Anatomy:

Body cylindrical, slender
Cuticle homogeneous with transverse rows of punctuations slightly larger and more widely spaced at the anterior end. Lateral differentiation of cuticle with three rows of longitudinal punctuations
Cuticular pores present, but scattered in the anterior part of the body and arranged in rows further posteriorly
Few somatic setae scattered along the body
Amphideal fovea multispiral of five turns,
Buccal cavity small, cup-shaped. Cheilostomatal walls reinforced by twelve rugae; dorsal tooth and two sub-ventral teeth present.
Pharynx cylindrical.

Males:

Diorchic; testes outstretched.
Spicules not well cuticularized, 1 cbd long.
Gubernaculum paired, distal ends enlarged and denticulate
Precloacal supplements (8, small) present, each with a small seta protruding.

Females:

Didelphic, amphidelphic, ovaries reflexed.

Collected from the Malidives at 0.5 to 0.9 m depth in medium-coarse sand.
