Morphology and Anatomy:

• Body slender, 1838 um long
•  Cuticle with transverse rows of dots. Lateral differentiation consisting of two longitudinal rows of dots with transverse bars,beginning at mid-pharynx
•  Head with six setiform inner labial sensilla, 9-10 um long, six setiform outer labial sensilla, 20-23 um). Cephalic setae difficult to observe or absent.
•  Amphideal fovea dorsally multispiral with 4½ turns, 49% of the corresponding body diameter, located at level of buccal cavity.
•  Buccal cavity large, cheilostom with distinctly cuticularized twelve rugae and pharyngostom with a large pointed dorsal tooth, two subventral teeth, and pairs of denticles.
•  Pharynx cylindrical, slightly enlarged posteriorly, but without forming a bulb; cardia not distinct.
• Nerve ring at 119-136 um with excretory pore opening slightly posterior
• Tail conico-cylindrical with a swollen tip and with short lateral setae, .

Distribution:

Collected in  fine to medium sand sediments in intertidal zone of Itapua beach, north-east Brazil.
