    Morphology and Anatomy:

    Over many years, a considerable number of species have been assigned to and removed from this genus by various authors.

    • Didelphicamphidelphic
     


    Males:
     
    • Precloacal supplements present or absent and when present of different shape: fine tubules, papillae, or thornlike
      structures.
    • Spicules of variable shape but with well developed capitulum and velum.
