Morphology and Anatomy:

General characteristics of the genus

• Cephalic helmet present.
• Amphideal fovea 1.25 turn spiral, located on a large cuticularized plate extending to or into anterior-most annules of the body cuticle.
•  Subcephalic setae present at the base of helmet.
• Buccal cavity with a large dorsal tooth and a single ventrosublateral tooth.
