Morphology and Anatomy:

General characteristics of the genus

 

Females:

  • Didelphic-amphidelphic,
  • Vulva situated slightly anterior to middle of body

Males:

  • Diorchic, testes opposed, outstretched. (diorchic condition is unique in the superfamily Desmodoroidea)
  • Spicules short, arcuate.
  • Gubernaculum complex, arcuate,
  •  Four or five pre-cloacal supplements present
