Metachromadoroides Timm, 1961

Type species of the genus: Metachromadoroides vulgaris (Timm, 1961) DeConinck, 1964

Synonyms:

Metachromadora vulgaris Timm, 1961

Morphology and Anatomy:

Cuticle annulated, lateral alae present.
Inner labial sensilla papilliform, outer labial and cephalic sensilla elongated papillae or short thick setae.
Stoma with large dorsal tooth and sometimes smaller subventral teeth.
Amphidial foveae circular or loop-shaped, located on thickened cuticle, appearin as a double contour.
Pharynx with longitudinally oval basal bulb, with strongly cuticularised lumen, often subdivided into two or three parts.
Precloacal supplements in the shape of short poorly cuticularised tubules or absent.
