Morphology and Anatomy:

  

Females:

  • Didelphic, amphidelphic with reflexed ovaries
  • Vulva slit-like vulva
  • Vagina cuticularized, perpendicular to the ventral body wall,
    with well developed sphincter muscle
  • Tail slender and conival

Males:

  • Body cylindrical with rounded triangular head capsule and conical tail.
  • Numerous, thin annuli, becoming narrower posteriorly
  • Head capsule smooth, thickly cuticularized,
  •  Minute outer labial sensilla ljust anterior to level of the cephalic setae
  •  Four cephalic, immediately followed by six subcephalic setae at the anterior edge of amphid fovea;
  • Amphids slender, multispiral (two turns)
  • Lips not separated. Lip region with a crown of twelve cheilorhabdia;
  • Buccal cavity with small, inconspicuous dorsal tooth and even smaller subventral teeth.
  •  Slender, straight pharynx with pyriform endbulb; cardia large.
  • Monorchic;
  • Spicules short, slightly arched, thickly cuticularized spicules without velum,
  • Gubernaculum complex,
  • No cloaca1 supplements.
  • Conical tail with short non-annulated tail end; conspicuous
    spinneret; caudal glands extending above the spicules.

Distribution:

Described from Gazi, Kemya, in a  from the vicinity of Sonneraria alba bush at the seaward side of a sandflat.
