Morphology and Anatomy:

    Male:

  • Dorylaimoid spicules
  • Large fusiform spermatazoa
  • 6 or 7 spaced ventromedian supplements
  • Tail about 1.5 x cloacal body diameter with rounded peg at tip.

Female:

  • Didelphic-amphidelphis
  • Vulva at about 45% of body length, a round to oval slit with sclerotized lips.
  • Female tail. long, filiform about 20% of body length.

Distribution:

.Type species, B. balatonicus is an aquatic nematode described from wet detritus at edge of waterm in Lake Balaton in Hungary.
