Morphology and Anatomy:

The extremely slender body differentiates the genus Chrysodorus from all other genera of the Mesodorylaiminae (Andrassy, 2009, Pena-Santiago et alo., 1998).

  • Very slender nematodes, 1.2-4.3 mm long.
  • Cuticle smooth.
  • Lip region truncate, continuous with  body contour.
  • Odontostyle weak and slender.

Fenale:

  • Diiovarial, amphidelphic,
  • Vulva a longitudinal slit or a pore
  • Tail attenuated to filiform

Male:

  • 7-16 contiguous ventromedian supplements.
  • Spicules massive.
  • Tail short and rounded.
