Morphology and Anatomy:

  • Very slender nematodes, 1.2-4.3 mm long.
  • Cuticle smooth.
  • Lip region truncate, continuous with  body contour.
  • Odotophore short and thick with an aperture > 25% its length.
  • Odontostyle weak and slender.

Fenale:

  • Diovarial, amphidelphic,
  • Vulva a small pore
  • Tail long and filiform, about 2ox anal body diameter.

Male:

  • Supplements: 1 pait adcloacal and 15-16 contiguous ventromedian postcloacal supplements.
  • Spicules large, dorylaimoid.
  • Tail short and rounded.

Distribution:

Aquatic and moist habitats. Species described from sandfy sediments of the Rio Yuegas in Cordoba, Spain.
