Morphology and Anatomy:

  • Body tapers to both extremities.
  • Cuticle finely striated
  • Lip region cap-like, separated from body contour by a constriction.
  • Expanded part of esophagus about 1/3 of total esophagus length.
  • Odontostyle about 1-2 lip-widths long with aperture about 1/4 of its length
  • Odontophphore 1.8-2.5 x odontostyle.
  • Female diovarial, amphidelphic
  • Female tail elongate conoid, 2-3.5 abd long.
  • Male with paired testes, dorylaimoid spicules and tail similar to that of female.
