  • Large nematodes, 2.2-8 mm
  • cuticle smooth or with faint punctation
  • Lip regoin slightly offset from body contour
  • Buccl cavity with thick hyaline wall
  • Amphids wide, stirrup-shaped.
  • Odontostyle length > 2x lip width, narrow, slightly bent
  • odontophore with moderate flanges
  • Esophagus expansion starting at about half the length
  • Tail similar in both sexes, conoid, subdigitate

Female:

  • didelphic, amphidelphic
  • Ovaries reflexed
  • spermatheca present
  • Vulva longitudinal

Male:

  • numerous ventromedian supplements
