Morphology and Anatomy:

• Body length ranging from 0.9-3.3 mm.
• Cuticle smooth or finely striated.
• Head well offset from body contour; lips separate.
• Odontostyle straight, as long or slightly longer than labial diameter.
• Esophagus enlargement starts at about 50% of esophageal length.
• Female genital system diovarial, amphidelphic; vulva usually transverse with sclerotized lips.
• Males common; spicules dorylaimoid; 5-20 ventromedian supplements, spaced apart.
• Spermatazoa spheroid.
• Tail conoid or convex-conoid, straight or ventrally arcuate.
• Very similar to Eudorylaimus except that there is no space between cloacal papillae and start of supplenments and that spermatazoa are spheroid rather than spindle-shaped.
