Morphology and Anatomy:

• Body length ranging from 1.6-2 mm.
• Cuticle smooth.
• Amphid apertures small, pore-like.
• Female genital system diovarial, amphidelphic; vulva longitudinal.
• Males with 13-21 closely-spaced ventromedian supplements.
• Female tail elongate to filiform; male tail bluntly rounded.

Distribution:

Members of this genus Halodorylaimus are the only members of the superfamily Dorylaimoidea knowm to live in marine habitats (Andrassy, 2009).
