Morphology and Anatomy:

Body length 2.1-2.5 mm; slender nematodes.
Cuticle of two layers.
Labial region offset from body contour by distinct constriction.
Odontostyle length about equal to lip width; aperture typically 67-75% of odontostyle length.
Odontophore rod-like; length about 2x odontostylelength; guiding ring plicate.
Basal expansion of esophagus about half of total length.
Female gonad diovarial, amphidelphic; vulva transverse.
Vaginal canal a simple tube, sclorotized pars refringens vaginae well-developed.
Tail similar in both sexes; conoid with rounded terminus, about 1.5x anal body diam (abd).
Male diorchic, testes opposed; about 6-9 ventromedian supplements.
Spicules curved.

Described from soil around California bay laurel (Umbellularia californica) in Marin County, California, USA (Alvarez-Ortega et al,, 2013)..

Feeding:

Probably similar to Aporcelaimellus: predators and omnivores (Yeates et al., 1993)
